In the future, it will continue to make efforts in five aspects, such as establishing an overall mechanism for the development of intelligent vehicles, promoting the integration of automobile manufacturing and the Internet, improving the level of key technologies such as power batteries and new energy vehicle consumption policies, and promoting the development of intelligent vehicles. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) recently released a draft of the smart car innovation and development strategy, planning to reach 50% of new smart car cars by 2020 and take the lead in building a smart car power in the world by 2035.

At the same time, while strengthening the withdrawal of financial subsidies for electric vehicles in 2020, we will extend the preferential measures for vehicle purchase tax, accelerate the completion of the automobile energy-saving credit system and the corresponding incentive system, and increase policy support in the carbon trading system, support for business innovation models and the expansion of the share of new energy vehicles.

Not only has the government increased its support for intelligent vehicles in terms of policies, but many Chinese and foreign automobile companies have also taken intelligence as the direction of future development, and have begun to launch corresponding intelligent automobile products into the market.

Xu Heyi, chairman of BAIC Group, introduced that in 2017, BAIC Group deeply implemented the innovation-driven strategy and created a strong driving force for development with scientific and technological innovation and technological progress. Beijing's first national-level science and technology innovation center, Beijing New Energy Science and Technology Innovation Center, was listed in BAIC Group. FAW Group also said a few days ago that in the future, the Hongqi brand will continue to focus on new energy and intelligence, and will launch 15 electric models by 2025 to achieve L5 level autonomous driving.

Foreign automobile companies are also making efforts in the domestic intelligent market. It is revealed that General Motors is equipped with a super cruise system, and Cadillac products with a high degree of intelligence will soon be launched in China.

For the future development of smart cars, the National Development and Reform Commission said that it will set up a national intelligent vehicle innovation and development leading group, which is responsible for coordinating the overall work of smart car development, and set up a national smart car innovation and development platform, which is responsible for implementing the key tasks determined by the national strategy. At the same time, we will continue to increase policy support, such as guiding social capital and financial capital, and increasing support for the innovation and development of national intelligent vehicles; Strengthen the guidance of tax and financial policies, and give tax incentives to enterprises engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of smart cars.
